Why "Success Story" Instead of "Case Study"

"Case study" sounds academic and dry. "Success story" reframes the content around the customer's achievement. 78% of B2B buyers use case studies during evaluation, but the ones that get shared internally are the ones that read like stories.

Writing Tips

  • Use the customer's exact words. "It was a nightmare" beats "We faced significant challenges."
  • Be specific with numbers. "60% reduction" beats "significant improvement."
  • Name real people. A quote from "Dana Rivera, VP of Operations" carries 10x the weight.
  • Keep it under 600 words. Respect the buying committee's time.
