StoryVoice

Alternative to Senja

Senja publishes what your customer typed. StoryVoice interviews her and writes the story.

Senja is good at what it is for: collecting short testimonials and putting them on your site as widgets and walls. The limit is that the customer has to do the writing. Whatever she types into the form is what you get, which is usually two sentences and no numbers. StoryVoice starts from a conversation instead. She talks to a voice AI for about five minutes, StoryVoice writes the full case study from what she said, and then sends it back to her by link to approve, change, or edit before it goes anywhere.

StoryVoice vs. Senja

FeatureSenjaStoryVoice
Numbers traced to what the customer saidNot applicable. Senja writes no case study and computes no metric. It publishes the submission your customer sent in herself, so there is no figure for anything to trace back to.Every metric card links to the exact sentence the customer said it in. Computed or stated, always checkable, never just asserted.
Customer approves the finished story"Approved/unapproved" is real, but it is the marketer moderating which submissions appear, on words your customer sent in herself. She never reviews a written asset, because Senja does not produce one.The customer reviews the finished story by link, no account needed. She can approve it, send it back with a note, or edit it herself.

Who signs off, and where the numbers come from

StoryVoice starts from an actual conversation and ends with the customer approving the finished result: she opens a link, no account needed, and can approve the story, send it back with a note, or edit it herself, with every metric card open to the exact sentence it was computed or taken from. Senja's "approved/unapproved" status is real, but read what it is actually approving: it is a toggle the marketer flips on the customer's own raw submission, not a review of anything drafted or written on her behalf. The customer never sees a finished asset to sign off on, because Senja never writes one. There is no case study, no computed metric, nothing to check against an interview.

  • Speed and volume matter — publish-ready in minutes, not weeks
  • You want to export designed PDFs for your sales team

Common questions

What is Senja?

Senja is a testimonial collection and display platform. It helps companies gather short text and video testimonials from customers and embed them on websites, landing pages, and emails. It's built for social proof widgets, not for creating full-length case studies.

How is StoryVoice different from Senja?

Senja is optimized for collecting and displaying short testimonials. StoryVoice is optimized for capturing customer stories and turning them into full case studies — with a before/after narrative, specific results sections, and a publish-ready case study. The formats are complementary but built for different jobs.

Can I use StoryVoice pull quotes as testimonials?

Yes. Every StoryVoice case study produces pull quotes from the customer's voice interview. These can be used as standalone testimonials on your website or landing pages. You get both the full case study and the short testimonial from a single customer recording.

Does StoryVoice collect reviews for G2 or Capterra?

No. StoryVoice is focused on helping B2B teams produce case studies, not on routing customers to third-party review platforms. If G2/Capterra review volume is your primary goal, that is Senja's job, not ours. If case study production is the goal, StoryVoice is built for it.

Senja has an "approved" status on testimonials. Is that the same as StoryVoice's customer approval?

No. StoryVoice sends the finished case study back to the customer by link, no account needed, and she can approve it, send it back with a note, or edit it herself, with every metric card linked to the exact sentence of the interview it came from. Senja's "approved/unapproved" is a moderation toggle the marketer controls on the customer's own raw, typed, or recorded submission. The customer never reviews a drafted or written asset, because Senja does not write one.
